Well that’s another fabulous year of York River Art Market done. How lucky were we that the much needed rain held off until this week. We were thankful for just a couple of showers on the last day.

We had 3 wonderful weekends beside the river, meeting and chatting with all you lovely visitors from far and wide. We were truly spoilt this year with almost 50 stalls on most days - an additional 20 stalls of talent to choose from! Loads of little pieces of Andrea’s Attic heading home with their new owners and as far as Texas! Whilst loads of little pieces made by fellow artists found their way home with me - oh how I love to shop at YRAM too 😊. As always it was the most vibrant and friendly place to spend our weekends. Being surrounded by our lovely talented river art market family is the cherry on top of the ice cream and we so enjoyed meeting new artists again this year too. Thank you all for your support, encouragement and being part of our journey.

A little note to say a big thank you to Caroline of for giving us 2026 and congratulations on curating and organising such a fabulous 6 day event for your 1st year of YRAM. You did yourself, us, our fellow artists and York proud!

Note to self for 2027 - must take more photos in between the chats and shopping! We just get so caught up in the fun of the moment that we forget - oops! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤭

We’ll be taking a short break over the next few weeks for much needed rest and recharge. Before we know it we’ll be back at the workbench replenishing pieces for our September standings and of course making a start on the winter home decor pieces. Notice that we didn’t mention the C word yet 😉. Now we might be quiet for a little while but not for too long. Enjoy the refreshing rain everyone whilst we have it as we could be heading for another heatwave come September!

Feeling very happy that the rain held off yesterday. There were a few very dark clouds but we managed to get packed up and actually offload the car before the heavens opened. The rain didn’t last long but there’s nothing worse than loading a soggy parasol into the car at the end of a day - well apart from a soggy commercial gazebo 😂. In case you didn’t hear our song and dance as we left, for the first time EVER we weren’t the last to finish packing up and we left Laura Joy Design | Illustrator & Maker , Lincoln Lightfoot , and Bejojo Art, Illustration & Design still dismantling displays. We’re always the last 4 and get this, I’m pretty sure we even beat . There were loads still packing up when we departed. Don’t ask us how we managed that as we’re still baffled 😂🤣😂. Here’s hoping we can manage it again for our last standing and final day of York River Art Market this Sunday. Your last chance to experience the Parisian Vibe of York River Art Market until 2027! 🤗

The pattern that always surprises. It really does go with everything and will see you through one season to the next. Most who see it think that the pieces are cut from a leaf with just one point. In fact it’s just one point delicately cut and shaped from the larger maple leaf on the teacup (see second image). It’s quite a while since any of this pattern found its way to Andrea’s Attic but I managed to find a few shards left from the last collection I created a couple of years ago. So we’ll have a very limited edition with us this at York River Art Market this Sunday. Dame Judy Dench Walk, 10 - 5:30pm. Pop down for a beautiful and inspiring walk along the River. With lots more stalls to fall in love with this year, you won’t want to miss it.

This weekend! York River Art Market, Dame Judy Dench Walk. We’ll be there shopping and supporting our fellow artisans on Saturday. These pieces will be available on our stall on Sunday! 10 - 5:30pm.

Presently recovering from a busy weekend of family time, socialising and shopping at YRAM on Saturday, followed by standing at YRAM Sunday. This one has a temporary creative block so may remain quiet for a little while longer but don’t worry, you’ll know when it’s cleared! 🤗
