Sometimes the planning is so relaxed, effortless and enjoyable that it hardly feels like work at all — and working with Josie was exactly that.

Josie arrived with a beautiful vision and a wonderfully free spirit, giving us the creative freedom to bring our ideas to life. Her brief? Elegant, contemporary, with a touch of editorial magic.

And so the dreaming, designing and planning began… culminating in the most beautiful floral story and styling for the couple’s wedding at York Mansion House✨ and The Guildhall York.

A celebration filled with considered details, beautiful blooms and just the right amount of modern romance.

In love with our flowers…

Megan & Miles said “I do” in August, celebrating their beautiful ceremony surrounded by the historic charm of The York Oratory, in the heart of York, before continuing their celebrations at the wonderful Thicket Priory.

Their wedding day was beautifully shaped by a calming palette of lavender and soft purple tones, complemented by the seasonal character and natural beauty of locally grown flowers and foliage. From the ceremony through to the reception, the delicate scent of fresh ingredients filled the spaces, creating that unmistakable sense of comfort and connection that only truly seasonal flowers can bring.

The lavender and purple colour palette brought a feeling of serenity, elegance and grace, perfectly reflecting the atmosphere of their day. Alongside the flowers, it was the quiet, intimate moments, the smiles and the laughter that made their celebration so special — beautifully captured by Annalise, allowing Megan & Miles to treasure those memories for years to come.

It was an absolute joy and a privilege to create these floral designs for such a wonderful couple. We had the greatest fun bringing their vision to life and feel incredibly proud of how beautifully everything came together.

26 years & counting… 🤍

A little self-indulgent, heartfelt post from me today, so bear with me.

Today we celebrate 26 years of marriage to Matthew Emson — and 32 years of having him by my side.

I couldn’t be prouder of the life we’ve built together, the family we’ve created, and the memories we’ve shared with our boys and the people we love the most.

The past year has brought some incredibly difficult personal moments (hence the radio silence over here), but we’ve navigated every one of them side by side. With my wonderful husband, my best friend, and the person who has always been there to steady me when life feels a little too much.

Because this is marriage. The love, the laughter, the joy, the sadness, the challenges, and everything in between. It’s choosing each other, time and time again. And knowing that, whatever life throws at you, you have your person beside you.

It’s exactly what I hope for every one of our couples when we watch them make their wedding vows. That you find your person — the one who makes life make a little more sense, who builds you up, stands beside you, and loves you unconditionally.

These are the moments and the people that matter most. The ones we love, cherish and hold close. 🤍

Happy anniversary, my love. 26 years married, 32 years together — and I’d choose you all over again. 🫶🏻

Anna & Jake…

what a beautiful day to remember. 🤍

A day filled with love, laughter and the most wonderful moments — memories that will stay with Anna & Jake for a lifetime.

This incredibly warm and generous couple celebrated their beautiful outdoor ceremony in the grounds of Thicket Priory | Weddings & Events Venue North Yorkshire this August, beneath the August sunshine and surrounded by their closest friends and family.

For their ceremony, we created a floral pathway of soft, pastel meadow-style blooms, leading Anna & Jake towards a flower-filled bandstand. Our glorious supersized floral urns, paired with a split floral archway, created a breathtaking focal point for their ceremony and a beautiful setting for them to enjoy throughout the day.

Christopher Kitchen Photography captured the atmosphere, emotion and energy of their wedding day so perfectly creating a beautiful collection of photos & memories.

Making memories…

Some weddings stay with you long after the flowers have gone, and Meredith & Sam’s will always be one of them.

On the hottest day of the year, beneath the shade of an incredible old oak tree, we created a woodland-inspired ceremony overlooking the lake at Thicket Priory. It couldn’t have been a more fitting setting for two people who share such a love of nature and the outdoors.

As guests gathered in the cool shade, the world seemed to slow down for just a moment. Surrounded by wild, natural florals that felt as though they’d always belonged there, Meredith & Sam said “I do” in a space that celebrated not only the beauty of the venue, but their story too.

This is why we never believe florals should simply decorate a wedding. They should tell a story. Your story.

Getting to know our couples is one of the most important parts of our process. We want to understand what inspires you, what makes you smile, and the little details that make your relationship unique—so we can create something that feels deeply personal, naturally beautiful and unmistakably yours.
