We’re adding an extra day to the week.

From now until the end of summer, Vovó Cantina will be open on Mondays, giving you one more chance to get your hands on your favourite burritos, bowls, nachos, hotdogs, and everything in between.

Whether you’re joining us at Spark York for lunch, grabbing dinner after work, or ordering through Deliveroo for a night on the sofa, we’ve got your Monday cravings covered.

Big news for the breakfast brigade, burrito bandits, brunch beasts, and birria believers alike; we’re bringing brighter beginnings and bolder Saturdays to Vovó. Because we believe breakfast befits a Barbacoa Burrito brutally barraged with a batch of bubbling birria. Braised beautifully, buried beneath blistering broth, and backed by big, bold Latin flavour.

Birria before brunch. Burritos before beers. Oorah!

That’s right, a shameless show of indulgence from our team. What else did you expect from us to celebrate the coming sunshine!!.. And in keeping with those summer sensibilities, it’s time to celebrate the return of our long-slumbering Argentine Steak & Cheese quesadilla, all heft and glorious mess.

Charred steak. Melted cheese. Chimichurri. Crisped tortilla. Built with absolutely no interest in subtlety… and if you’re not mopping up those juices with fries, we dont know what you’re doing with your life!

Naturally, we’re rising to the occasion with bright and zesty Chicken al pastor tacos. 3 tacos loaded with tender shredded chicken, some seriously fresh honeyed pineapple, and classic pico de gallo.

Tacos in one hand, a cold beer in the other, life doesn’t get much better. Find yourself a seat, bring some friends, and call it a weekend well spent!

Easter for us typically sees Feijoada flying off the pass, packed with all the flair of a Brazilian family feast. This time however, we’re listing dangerously from a little unorthodox flavour temptation, courtesy of

They took tradition, and torched the brief, inspiring a post-easter treat that is crafted for the kind of culinary chaos we respect… not for those opposed to flavour, and thoroughly unapologetic!

Sticky hot cross bun stacked with rich and smokey Adobo Pork Birria, Guajillo chilli honey, crisp apple salsa verde, and a layer of cool queso fresca for balance. We’ve even thrown in a duo of crunchy corn tostadas for some serious texture. Sweet… Sticky… Smokey... Heat…. It’s slaps in all the right places, and comes with a boat-load of napkins! You’re welcome 🙏
