ბნელი 90იანები, აკადემია და პირველი ბიენალე ვარძიაში, შემდეგ დანია და სკანდინავიურ

შემდეგ იყო მოსკოვი და თბილისში რემონტის პრობლემა.
1996 წელი ქართული ბაზრის რეალობა: „ელიავა“, „ირანი“, „თურქეთი“, შეუსაბამობა მის მოთხოვნასთან. დაიწყო ევროპის ბაზრის მოძიება და იმ ბრენდების გაცნობა, რომლებიც მიძნებულ “სკანდინავიურ„ ყუთში იყო, ესენი მსოფლიო ტოპ ბრენდებია. გაჩნდა იდეა თბილისში მათი შოურუმის გახსნის. თუმცა ეს უძვირფასესი ავეჯი მაშინდელი საზოგადოების ყოფას და განვითარებას ბევრად წინ უსწრებდა, ისინი ხომ ევროპელებისთვისაც კი წინ წასული იყო და მხოლოდ ერთეულების ხვედრი იყო. მაინც გარისკა და თბილისში ჩამოიტანა პირველი მარგალიტი, B&B Italia-ს პირველი პროდუქტი. შემდეგ მეორე სირთულე გაჩნდა. ამ დროისთვის არ არესებობდა არცერთი არქიტექტურული სივრცე, რომელიც ამ ავეჯს მოირგებდა და სწორედ ეს გახდა მინიმალისტური არქიტექტურიდან მიღებული შთაბეჭდიხლებების გამოღვიძის მიზეზი, თავად აიღო თავის თავზე მისი შექმნა და ასე დაიბადა პირველი პროექტი, ვილა თბილისში, რომელიც მაშინვე მოინათლა მსოფლიოს უდიდესი დიზაინერების მიერ როგორც მოწყვეტილი ვარსკვლავი.

The dark 90s, the Academy, and the first Biennale in Vardzia, then Denmark and the inspiration received from Scandinavian architecture, which was temporarily put to rest. Then came Moscow and the renovation problems in Tbilisi.
1996, the reality of the Georgian market: “Eliava,” “Iran,” “Turkey,” and the incompatibility with its demands. The search for the European market began, and getting to know those brands that were locked in the "Scandinavian" box—these are world’s top brands, and the idea to build a showroom using their products was born. However, this extremely luxurious furniture was far ahead of the lifestyle and development of society at that time, as it was already advanced even for Europeans, and only a select few could fathom it. Still, he took the risk and brought the first pearl in Tbilisi, the first product of B&B Italia. By that time, there was not a single architectural space that would accommodate this furniture, and this became the reason for awakening the impressions from minimalist architecture. He took on the task of creating it, and thus the first project, a villa in Tbilisi was born, which was immediately hailed by the world's greatest designers as a detached star. Concrete, metal, glass, and wood—these are the primary materials used both in the façade and the interior. Innovations in architecture during the late 90’s was a bold, risky step. His name established itself in the "high fashion" family. This is Zurab Saphareli, who after 30 years of experience, now leads the company Saphareli.
