Natural stone façade design is not just about visual cladding, it is a complex technical system where material weight, fixing methods, façade junctions, and integration with the main structure must be precisely calculated.

Art is when classical approaches are integrated into innovation.

A perfect example of this is the residential complex built in Argentina, whose concept combines structural solidity, visual appeal, and efficient utilization of the site.

During the concept development phase, we selected a combination of two primary materials - exposed concrete as a modern solution, and wood, one of the oldest materials in architecture. Despite city hall regulations, we managed to optimize the interior spaces while keeping them proportional to the saleable area.

In addition to conceptual design, we also oversaw the construction process.

What impact does façade design have on the interior?

Façade design is one of the key components of interior experience. It defines how much natural light enters the space, how the views open up, how privacy is maintained, and how the scale, temperature, and atmosphere of the interior are perceived.

In the Marina Gate project, Canaform’s team worked precisely on creating this connection. The façade design, material selection, opening logic, and technical details were developed in a way that directly linked the exterior architecture with the quality, comfort, and visual experience of the interior space.

During the development of the IFC package, every node, connection detail, and layer is carefully resolved to ensure the cladding system integrates correctly with the primary structure and leaves no room for interpretation during ex*****on.

This approach results in a comprehensive technical documentation set that guarantees accurate façade realization, minimizes the risk of errors, and streamlines the construction process.
