🎬 Top 5 Horror Movies for Interior Designers 👀🍿

Featuring:
❌ Following every trend like it’s a personality trait
❌ Matchy-matchy furniture sets straight out of a showroom catalog
❌ Matching every single color instead of letting a space breathe with contrast & character
❌ Rugs so small they look emotionally unavailable to the room
❌ Lighting with no sense of scale… or homes lit like parking garages with only recessed lights
❌ Playing it “safe” until the space loses all soul
❌ Spaces so perfect they forget humans actually live there

The real jump scare?
A home with no personality. 🫠✨

They think interior designers just pick pillows…

But there’s a whole world happening behind the scenes.

Especially when you’re particular, when nothing is “almost right,” and everything has to feel just right. The sourcing, the swapping, the testing, the second-guessing, the starting over… all for that one moment where it finally clicks.

It’s never just decor. It’s decisions, details, and a bit of controlled chaos.

Finally made it to Museo Frida Kahlo, seeing Frida Kahlo’s world in real life just hits different.

Her art is so symbolic, like every piece is a glimpse into her mind, her pain, her strength, all of it. Her story isn’t just about art, it’s about turning pain into beauty and struggle into expression in the most unapologetically real way.

This is what meaningful art feels like, raw, honest, and you don’t even need to overthink it to feel it.

Wait… why is decorating so satisfying? 😭

fluff fluff pillow chop
click lamp on
tap tap styling books
clink vase placement
smooth linen straightened

The little details that turn an empty space into I never want to leave. ✨

Design people get it.

Imagine a world without interior designers…

Sofas blocking doors. Rugs the size of bath mats. Paint colours chosen in panic. Furniture that looked “smaller online.”

Trust the professionals - save your money, your nerves, and your home from becoming a Pinterest crime scene.

Today, I officially became a Canadian citizen. 🇨🇦

When my husband first told me we were moving to Canada, I remember the heaviness in my heart. Leaving behind Lebanon my home, my family, my friends, my career, and everything familiar, was one of the hardest decisions of my life. Beirut will always be a part of who I am. It shaped me, inspired me, and gave me roots I will carry forever.

But today, I look back with nothing but gratitude.

Canada gave us more than a new beginning; it gave us opportunities, growth, new horizons, and the chance to rebuild dreams in ways I never imagined. It opened doors for me personally and professionally, and allowed me to grow into the person I am today.

Most importantly, it gave my children a beautiful life filled with opportunities, safety, diversity, and the freedom to dream big. Watching them grow here while still carrying their Lebanese roots in their hearts means everything to me.

I’ve always been proud to be part of this country, long before receiving this citizenship. This passport is not an exit plan, it is a symbol of belonging, gratitude, resilience, and the life we built together.

And today, I want to give special credit to my husband. This journey started with his vision, his courage, and his belief in a future we could create together. Thank you for seeing a future I couldn’t yet see myself.

Proudly Lebanese. Proudly Canadian. ❤️🇱🇧🇨🇦
