Being of Greek origin but born and raised in a beautiful multicultural country like Australia, has been a constant artistic influence on me ranging from sights, sounds and even smells! All these ingredients have nurtured my artistic vein from a very young age. Growing up, I was influenced by both of my parents. My father was a carpenter so he worked with his hands and my mother's sewing and knitting skills, especially cooking skills, to this day motivate me to have something yummy cooking away for my family! Aroma is very important to me! After finishing uni where I majored in English Literature, I suddenly found myself living in Greece ( now that's another story 😆)! This transition further enriched my love for making things! In recent years, now that my children are older, I rediscovered my passion for crafting, making presents for friends and sometimes even selling my creations at local markets! Today I find that my love for crafting has surpassed everything else and I believe it is some sort of therapy for me, because I am able to direct my energy into something positive and keep my mind off of all the chaos that surrounds our daily lives. I'm sure that a lot of people can relate to that! The last few years I have been exploring the beautiful art of macrame and with the help and support of my husband and 3 boys, I finally made the decision to open this shop! My children are an integral part of everything! I wouldn't have taken this step without them!! At this point I would like to mention that my second son, Christopher, is responsible for all the beautiful paintings in the shop! I hope you like my 'goodies' as I like to call them and know that there's lots more to come!❤️
