🤍 Light fabrics generally let more light pass through the sides, creating a soft, diffused glow.

🖤 Dark fabrics generally let less light through, making the light from the top and bottom openings more noticeable and creating richer contrast.

The weave, thickness and inner lining also influence the result — colour is only part of the story.

From a cosy corner to a practical workspace, here’s a simple guide to LED colour temperatures:

✨ 2200K — Extra warm, for soft ambient lighting and moments of relaxation.
✨ 2700–3000K — Warm white, for inviting living rooms, bedrooms and dining spaces.
✨ 4000K — Neutral white, for kitchen islands and everyday tasks.
✨ 5000K — Cool white, for workbenches and detailed work.
✨ 6500K — Cool daylight, for workshops and utility spaces.

Remember: Kelvin tells you the colour of the light. Lumens tell you how much light a bulb produces.

A distinctive lampshade, carefully brought back to life. ✨
Its unusual shape, scalloped outline and radiating pleats made this a challenging remake. Each pleat had to be carefully arranged by hand to fit the new fabric to its distinctive form.
The white-and-gold trim was custom-made by us exclusively for this lampshade, completing its transformation while honouring its original character. 🤍

Μια ιδιαίτερη ανακατασκευή, με πολλή δουλειά στη λεπτομέρεια. ✨
Το ξεχωριστό σχήμα αυτού του αμπαζούρ, με το κυματιστό περίγραμμα και τις ακτινωτές πτυχώσεις, έκανε την ανακατασκευή του απαιτητική. Κάθε πτύχωση έπρεπε να δουλευτεί προσεκτικά στο χέρι, ώστε το καινούριο ύφασμα να ακολουθήσει τη μορφή του.
Η λευκή–χρυσή τρέσα φτιάχτηκε από εμάς αποκλειστικά για το συγκεκριμένο αμπαζούρ, ολοκληρώνοντας την ανανέωσή του με σεβασμό στον αρχικό του χαρακτήρα. 🤍
