Art directed by our founder and brought to life by one of Greece’s last remaining glassblowing studios, the Anthologist Blown Glass Amphora is a celebration of time-honored craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Each piece is one of a kind, its distinctive hues shaped by minerals introduced during the glassmaking process. Subtle irregularities and variations are not imperfections to conceal, but signatures of the artisan’s hand, making every amphora entirely unique.

A flea market discovery in Athens, an island inspiration on Paros, and a little creative ingenuity.

Inspired by a traditional belt buckle once worn with costumes in northern Greece, the Anthologist Goddess Belt was born when our founder began using her vintage find to cinch her collection of vintage scarves into dresses.

After countless friends admired it and asked for one of their own, the Goddess Belt became a signature Anthologist creation. A timeless accessory to wear throughout the seasons.

Named after the Greek word for eagle (Αετός), Aeton takes its spirit from the highlands of Metsovo in Epirus, Greece.

Handwoven in rich hues of crimson, olive, cobalt, and violet, this vintage floor runner features traditional stepped diamond motifs believed to offer protection and symbolize life’s journey.

A celebration of color, craftsmanship, and heritage, woven in the mountains with the spirit of an eagle in flight.

A celebration of color, craftsmanship, and conscious creativity. 🧶✨

The Anthologist Crochet Collection is brought to life in collaboration with a women-led collective in Egypt, run by two sisters. Each bag is crocheted by hand in the artisans’ homes, allowing the women to work at their own pace and within their communities.

Made entirely from yarn created from carpet off-cuts, these colorful pieces give new life to surplus materials. No two are quite alike, with every combination of colors and textures guided by the available threads and the hands of the maker.

A beautiful expression of individuality, resourcefulness, and the power of women working together.

A Moment of Stillness.

Inspired by Andria’s creative work in our foundry in Athens, and years of collecting sculptural objects rooted in myth and material, The Alcyone Table bridges eras: modernist in proportion, classical in symbolism.

Named after Alcyone — the mythic kingfisher whose story gave rise to the halcyon (alcyonides) days of winter calm — the piece reflects a moment of stillness within movement.

Cast in brass, this sculptural side table balances architectural restraint with narrative detail. Rising from a textured square base, the slender column supports a refined circular top, its simplicity in deliberate contrast to the relief below.

The base features a hand-cast bas-relief composition: birds gathered around a central tree form, rendered in low, expressive relief. The imagery nods to the myth of Alcyone and the kingfisher reinterpreted through contemporary foundry technique.

Each table is individually cast and hand-finished, ensuring natural variation in patina and detail. Functional as a side table yet powerful as a standalone object, it is designed to sit comfortably in a living room, bedroom, or gallery-like setting.

A sculptural study in weight and light. Each table is individually cast and hand finished in antique brass, its surface alive with soft gold and bronze undertones that shift with the day’s light. The stem bears engraved diamond and circular forms inspired by ancient mosaic geometry, symbols once used to mark protection and passage.

Forged in Anthologist’s Athens atelier, the piece carries the traces of its making: a hand textured base, subtle patina, and a quiet sense of permanence. Both anchor and altar, it embodies the strength of Greek craftsmanship and the beauty of imperfection.

Salvaged from an old door in the Athens flea market by our founder, this ornate doorknob bearing the likeness of Goddess Demetra was too beautiful to leave behind.

Recast in brass using ancient sand-mold techniques, she is equally at home on a front door or simply placed as an objet d’art atop a stack of old books.

Goddess of the harvest, agriculture and the changing seasons, Demetra is a symbol of abundance and renewal. Winter, spring, summer or fall, she’ll be there to welcome you.

Each piece is hand-cast and hand-polished to reveal the natural brilliance of the brass. Subtle imperfections are part of its character and the hand of its making.

Available left- or right-facing.
