From structure to atmosphere. 🌸🌿🧘🏻‍♀️

Project 02 at McQueen’s Flower School — a floral chandelier structure.

Unlike a large-scale installation, this piece was about precision: creating a suspended design that felt light, balanced and dimensional from every angle.

The challenge was in the layering — building an outer ring of greenery while allowing the inner flowers and trailing materials to be seen through the structure.

A smaller piece, but a very technical one.
Suspension, balance, transparency and movement all had to work together.

A closer look at the mechanics behind the floral chandelier. 🧚🏻🕸️🎣

This design relied on careful suspension points, tension and weight distribution. Every stem added to one side affected the balance of the whole structure.

The goal was not only to make it beautiful, but to make it hang correctly — level, secure and visually balanced.

It was a good reminder that in floral design, gravity is always part of the brief.

A floral chandelier can completely change how a space feels. ✨🪩🧚‍♂️

Suspended above a table, in a window, or as part of an event entrance, this kind of piece creates softness without taking up floor space.

I love the idea of flowers floating in the air — layered, delicate and architectural at the same time.

This project was a beautiful study in how smaller suspended pieces can still make a strong spatial impact.
