Crafted from delicate calendered brass profiles forming an electrified track, and adorned with sandblasted glass and crystal diffusers, it brings an effortless poetry of illumination to any interior.

Tracing bulthaup’s journey reveals the evolution of the modern kitchen.

It all began with founder Martin Bulthaup’s obsession with craftsmanship and quality. His successor, Gerd Bulthaup, took it a step further—bringing his architecture background and the Bauhaus principle of “form follows function” into the brand’s DNA.

The result is the world’s first kitchen island, “System b.” It completely changed how we cook by breaking away from wall-facing designs and putting people at the center.

From pioneering independent workbenches and mobile kitchens to creating epoch-making floating kitchens, bulthaup continues to redefine the kitchen as a true living space.

無垠之界 前瞻設計

縱觀 bulthaup 猶如廚房進化史的軌跡，創始人 Martin Bulthaup 對木匠工藝與細節的講究，奠定了品牌對品質與用料的超高標準。第二代接班人 Gerd Bulthaup 則融合建築專業與包浩斯「形隨機能」理念，推出全球首座廚房中島原型「System b」，顛覆面牆烹煮的傳統思維，揭示以人為本的核心價值。

A JOURNEY THROUGH DESIGN - pt. 2
1992 — 2026

The 1990s marked a decisive turning point for Rimadesio. The encounter with Giuseppe Bavuso introduced a design vision capable of transforming material into system, giving the collection a new architectural dimension. Aluminium technology entered the company’s design language, leading to the creation of Siparium — the partition panel system destined to become an icon of the brand.

From that moment onwards, doors, partition systems, storage elements and boiserie redefined the concept of living through visual continuity, compositional freedom and formal essentiality. A coherent language took shape, founded on the distinctive dialogue between glass and aluminium, on technological innovation and on a constant research into exclusive materials and finishings — values that continue to define Rimadesio today.

1990 年代，意大利品牌 Rimadesio 迎來了決定性的轉捩點。品牌與設計師 Giuseppe Bavuso 合作，帶來了將「物料」昇華為「系統」的全新視野，賦予產品更宏觀的建築維度。鋁材技術成為品牌的設計重點，並成就了極具代表性的劃時代經典——Siparium 隔間系統。

自此，透過視覺的通透延續、靈活的組合自由度與極簡的外型，Rimadesio 的門板、隔間、貯存與護牆板系統重新定義了居住空間。玻璃與鋁材的精準交織，融合對頂級材質與前沿科技的堅持，建構出 Rimadesio 獨樹一幟的設計語彙，化為延續至今的品牌核心靈魂。
