The event floor at Bloomberg was designed as a multifunctional space to effortlessly handle different things on different days. Operable partitions let the auditorium open up into the pre-function area and modular, flexible furniture allow for various events, whether it’s a town hall, a panel discussion or a workshop.

Seating wraps around the structure’s landings, turning it into a gathering point—somewhere to pause, bump into a colleague, or have an impromptu meeting. Sculptural, practical, and social.

The workplace floor at Bloomberg is open and transparent. Breakout areas are distributed throughout for collaboration, each equipped with video conferencing to support global teams. A dedicated wellbeing room offers quiet retreat when needed. Natural light and harbour views are woven into the layout as a core part of how the space works.

We’re passionate about designing spaces that work better for people and the environment. For Bloomberg, sustainability was built into the process from day one. We provided LEED consultancy alongside the design, and the project achieved Gold certification. Every decision, from materials to systems to planning, was made with performance in mind.

Our design for Bloomberg’s workplace entailed two floors with two different functions: one for events, one for everyday work. Both share the same approach: open, flexible, and built around people. A sculptural timber ceiling ties the event spaces together. A new staircase connects floors and creates gathering points along the way. The workplace floor is transparent, collaborative, and equipped for global teams. It’s an office designed for the way we work today.

Honoured to share that our project for BWL Taichung has achieved Gold at the FRAME Awards 2026!

This space spans two floors in a Taichung city-centre building—one level for customers to explore products and gather, the other for BWL’s employees to work and collaborate. We drew inspiration from the rounded forms of traditional Taiwanese temple columns, shaping them into fluted joinery and a winding brass pathway that guides visitors through the experience.
