Following the success of “A Collector’s Dinner”, HKAAGA hosted a second event “A Collector’s Lifestyle” that coincided with Hong Kong March Art Month where friends from art circles all over the world gathered. The event was hosted by Maria Kiang Chinese Art, founding member of HKAAGA. The gallery space was set up in a private residence and echoed the theme of the event. Ms Kiang is one of the leading experts in Chinese antiques and is well-known internationally, especially for scholar’s objects, Buddhist art, jade and Song ceramics. Members of HKAAGA carefully selected pieces of each category from their private collection to showcase, creating an elegant and intimate private setting for guests to experience living with art.

HKAAGA hosted a successful collectors' meeting “Collector’s Dinner” in January. Members of HKAAGA exhibited their private collections, presenting an impressive array of objects in their areas of expertise, including Himalayan art, scholar’s objects, Ming and Qing furniture, ancient bronze, ceramics, jadeite jewellery, contemporary design furniture, and modern and contemporary paintings.
More than thirty collectors and experts from the art and antique world were invited to attend “A Collector’s Dinner” at the beginning of the year. The dinner was hosted by Fabio Rossi, Vice Chairman of HKAAGA, at the Rossi & Rossi Gallery in Wong Chuk Hang. Specializing in classical and contemporary Himalayan art, the Rossi & Rossi Gallery exhibited Wheels of Fire, by Italian-born, New York-based artist Massimo Antonaci, and the gallery exhibition was accompanied by exquisite antiques and contemporary works of art from a number of private collections.
