As an interior designer, I spend a lot of time thinking about aesthetics, function, and styling. But some of my favourite additions to a home are the ones that tell a story and reflect the people who live there.

Because good design isn’t just about how a space looks - it’s about how it supports life as it changes.

Not every space needs a renovation.

Sometimes, it simply needs intention.

This bathroom started as a plain white rental bathroom. By layering oversized artwork, soft textures, and a few decorative pieces, it became a space that feels warmer, more personal, and considered.

Bathrooms deserve styling too.

When the brief calls for something truly timeless, you look past traditional wood.

This bespoke entryway shoe cabinet is crafted entirely from raw travertine. The natural pores and warm tones turn a functional storage piece into a sculptural architectural statement. First impressions are everything.

I wanted a cabinet near the entrance that could function as shoe storage without looking like a typical shoe cabinet.

After struggling to find the right one, I worked directly with a supplier on Taobao to customise the dimensions and detailing inside.

Thirty days later, it arrived exactly as planned.

One of the biggest advantages of Taobao is that many suppliers can adapt their standard pieces to suit your specific requirements, making custom furniture far more accessible than most people realise.

A premium-looking home doesn’t always come from a premium budget. It comes from layering, proportions, textures, and choosing pieces that work together.

One of my favourite bespoke projects so far.

The brief was simple: create a home bar integrating the existing wine fridge, add an arch and make everything feel visually balanced within the space.

Custom joinery allows interiors to be designed around the way people actually live instead of forcing standard solutions into place.
