In our residential design philosophy, "human-centered" is not just a concept but a curated lifestyle. We place our clients' needs at the forefront, capturing the vibe they envision for their ideal living space. Through thoughtful dialogue and analysis, we delve into their habits and tastes, seamlessly integrating these whimsical elements into our designs. This ensures that each decision harmonizes with their daily life, creating a space that is as aesthetic as it is functional.
Located in the enchanting Mid-Levels of Hong Kong, this project is a testament to creativity and inspiration. The results have left Ms. Choi and her family thoroughly delighted. While the design may appear minimalist, it is the outcome of careful curation. We intentionally chose to forgo marble and steel, opting instead for the simplicity of linear wood flooring, which evokes a sense of authenticity. Even in our material selections, we have carefully chosen the finest modern stone composite flooring to enhance the natural beauty of the space.
This design philosophy marks a delightful departure from our previous projects. We stripped away excessive elements to cultivate a serene and inviting atmosphere, allowing the space to feel both harmonious and comforting. Such an approach not only grants residents a moment of peace amid their busy lives but also fosters a genuine sense of home.
I often describe this residence as embodying a "sense of relaxation." The use of familiar materials, like natural oak and warm lighting, creates a tranquil ambiance. By steering clear of overly ornate features, we reflect our core principle—what the Italians call "sprezzatura", signifying elegantly disheveled.
