Amaranth is one of the plants best embodies autumn. Holding thousands upon thousands of seeds within, yet still humbly keeping its bowed, cascading form

「Prairie & Dahlia Sculpture
「Prairie Installation

Strawberry Hill House & Garden

——————

Inspired by Horace Walpole’s conceptual relationship between ‘gloomth’ and ‘riant’, the piece reflects on life as a cycle of endings and beginnings.

The fading, dried amaranth evokes the quietness of life’s end, while vines slowly creep through the corners, symbolising renewal, growth and new life.

“Life is always a cycle.”

September is a wonderful month when everything finally gets a moment to breathe and cool down a little, but I’m still not ready to let go of those crazy summer vines

‘Summer Romance’ Workshop, Hong Kong 🇭🇰

Travelled back to Hong Kong and shared some of the inspiration I’ve gathered from life in the garden

Some of the strangest ideas somehow find their way into my floral designs, becoming part of my creative process. I hope they brought a little inspiration to my students as well

A whole month of travelling for work has been incredibly rewarding, but also exhausting. I’m so grateful that Hong Kong was the final stop of this journey. The conversations, laughter, and joy we shared throughout the workshops washed away all the tiredness from weeks on the road

Thank you to everyone who came along and made these moments so special 🤍🤍
