A commercial space should do more than look beautiful — it should make people feel what the brand stands for.
We were honoured to design Park Mountain, located inside Kai Tak Sports Park in Hong Kong.
More than a casual dining restaurant, it is a social enterprise committed to inclusion, with a mission to employ individuals with autism.
That is why this project was never purely about style.
What mattered most was how to transform the brand’s warmth, purpose, and social vision into a tangible spatial experience.
Through soft natural tones, intuitive circulation, and a low-stimulation design language expressed in lighting, materials, and furniture, we shaped a dining environment that feels calm, welcoming, and emotionally comforting for both staff and guests.
I have always believed that meaningful design does more than enhance appearance or improve operations.
It gives physical form to values,
and ultimately shapes how a brand is remembered.
This is why this kind of commercial space matters.
Because today, people do not only remember the interior itself.
They remember the attitude, humanity, and intention behind the brand.
When designing a commercial space, the real question is never only:
“Does it look good?”
But rather:
Does this space truly express what the brand stands for?
