Do LED light fixtures need to be grounded?

Not for the operation of LED’s.
If the fixture has a metal housing or some other conducting material, then yes, although the risk is quite small.

The housing would have to become energized (unlikely), you would have to touch it and provide a path to ground some how to get shocked.

Can cameras be hidden in LED lights?

To find the equivalent size of an LED lamp to a 150-watt halogen lamp, you need to consider the lumen output. Halogen lamps typically produce around 15 lumens per watt, so a 150-watt halogen lamp would produce approximately 2250 lumens.

LED lamps are more energy-efficient and can produce the same amount of light with fewer watts. On average, LED lamps produce around 80–100 lumens per watt.

Using this conversion rate, you would need an LED lamp that produces between 22.5 and 28 watts to achieve the same brightness as a 150-watt halogen lamp.

Which is better, LED or incandescent lights?

It depends upon what you mean by better. What criteria would you use to decide which is better.

However, we can say that LED lights tend to be more efficient. Incandescent lights generate quite a lot of heat so not all of the energy is used to generate light.

You can get more light per unit energy with an LED light than with an incandescent light. If energy efficiency is your criterion for deciding which is better, then I think LED lights are better.

Are LED light bulbs worth the money?

How do you account for glare when designing lighting for indoor spaces?

Chose lighting products that are glare free ie they limit light in the 50 to 90 degree zone to test it put on a baseball cap or shield your eyes if you feel some relief you are experiencing glare

Finding quality lighting products that shield fromhlate is getting more difficult particularly in the residential sector LED products tend to be available with limited glare control and optical cut off

What's the difference between an LED wall washer and an LED strip light?

a. The main difference is the light beam angle and waterproofness.

b. for led wall washers, it's a narrow beam angle light like 20 degrees or 30 degrees; in this way, the light can reach 1.5–2.5 meters on the wall to wash the wall. Also, LED wall washers are always used outdoors, so nearly all of them are waterproof.

c. For LED strip lights, the beam angle is 120 degrees. And there are both waterproof and non-waterproof versions on the market.

Why are LED lights so commonly a cool white?

LED White light’s actual LED is of InGaN type, emitting around 400 to 450nm (Violet to Blue light). This light is then used to pump phosphors that will re-emit light at the white visible wavelength.

Two issue occur
1) There’s still a bit violet-blue light present in the final spectrum, giving the bluish hue that is typical of the cool light
2) it is more efficient to pump phosphors that re-emits closer to the original pumping wavelength.

BTW, fluorescent tubes are also typically cool-white for the same reason.
