We had the pleasure of breathing new life into the old, cluttered DT workshop, transforming it into a state-of-the-art space that blends tradition with innovation. This project was close to our hearts, as we wanted to create an environment that not only functions as a creative hub but also inspires those who step inside.

We took the old, unorganised DT workshop and transformed it into a state-of-the-art modern space designed to inspire creativity and innovation. The new layout includes two expansive workshops and a dedicated textile classroom, all visible through sleek glass walls.

The entrance corridor, lined with cutting-edge 3D printers and a laser cutter, sets a futuristic tone, showcasing the blend of design and technology. Inside, the industrial, rustic aesthetic features light oak workbenches and furniture, paired with brushed aluminum panels that lend a subtle cyber-inspired edge to the space—an ideal blend of craft and tech-forward sophistication.

A stunning 3000 sqm kindergarten is added to vibrant Shanghai!

Our design encompasses a brand-new reception area, a dynamic library, an inspiring art workshop, an engaging indoor activity space, and state-of-the-art classroom facilities.

Our team has crafted a playful color scheme and thoughtful design that captivates and stimulates young minds while prioritizing their safety. Every detail is meticulously planned to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children.

In our whimsical library, we've added cozy alcoves, stepped seating, and playful terrain, along with a slide that takes kids directly to the indoor activity area. It's a joyful journey into the world of books, making reading an adventure to remember!

Hello everyone! I have some exciting news to share with you all. We’ve just launched MAD(e)ducation, a new venture by MAD Studio Limited

Our hearts have always been deeply invested in design. But when it comes to educational spaces, it feels even more personal. Many of us at MAD Studio have little ones ourselves, and we’ve seen firsthand how the right environment can spark curiosity, imagination, and growth in them. Creating these vibrant, enriching spaces for kids isn’t just a job for us; it’s a way to give back and make a difference where it truly matters.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of designing for a wide range of kids and schools. This vast experience not only honed our skills but also made us realize how much we love this particular area. It’s incredibly satisfying to see how our designs can positively impact children’s learning experiences and overall development.

Our goal is to create environments where kids can feel inspired to learn and grow every day. With all our experience and a real love for education, we’re crafting classrooms and school areas that are both practical, fun and visually stunning.
