I come from a little town in the bottom south of an Istra region - Pula. Besides my full-time job, for the last decade, I am fulfilling my days creating some art. It all started about 11 years ago when I saw a woman (now my friend) at a craft show hand-painting a beautiful silk scarf. Her work and energy are probably the main reason I started painting silk, as she was inspiring me with every piece
of art she made. After some courses and a hundred meters of painted silk, I started selling my work at the craft show as well, tutoring other woman and hopefully inspiring them. Along with silk painting, I have started making jewelry with my daughter. Starting with “Fimo” and plastic beads to wooden necklaces, felted jewelry and finishing with a classy mineral necklaces in combination with silk scarves. For a year I have weekly attended courses and it resulted with many lamps and decorative objects, for which I am very proud of myself. There are also lavender products. Our family own a huge field with lavender and to make it useful, I started creating little bags for the closet. Now, except the bags, we are making lavender oil and water, which are sold in multiple souvenir shops through Istra. As I constantly want to expand my creativity and try to DIY everything, I have a full house of tools and craft supplies, which unfortunately time doesn't allow me to spend all.
