From sketch to visualisation.

One of the things I enjoy most about the design process is watching an idea gradually take shape.

Every project starts with possibilities.

Then comes a series of decisions.

And step by step, the future space becomes more tangible.

For this project, the client chose a package with schematic visualisations rather than photorealistic renders.

Using AI visualisation as an additional tool made it possible to communicate the atmosphere and design direction more clearly, bringing the concept a little closer to reality.

What I like about this home office is that nothing feels accidental.

The rug is one of the first things you notice.

The curtains soften the contrast.

The wood and brick wall bring warmth.

The darker elements create structure.

None of these decisions would have the same effect on their own.

This wasn’t just a kitchen makeover.
It was a complete rethink of how the space works and how it feels to live in it.

On the surface, everything seemed ok.
The kitchen worked. It looked good.
But it didn’t feel right to my client.

Before any decisions,
I first defined the direction of the space - its atmosphere, character and what it should feel like to live in.

Only after that did I define the layout.

While working on it,
I kept coming back to how the family actually lives here - their routines, their rhythm, what their days really look like.

That’s what shaped the space.
And once that became clear, every next decision from materials to details - fell into place naturally.

That’s the difference between a space that looks good

and a space that actually feels right.
