The motivation to create beautiful and useful objects out of wood, has always been bigger than the size of our workshop or the number of tools we owned. We started Wood Art Istra in a tiny basement, and with time, work and dedication we have been able to grow and find a dedicated place to develop our projects. Needless to say, the starting conditions were far from ideal, it took months of hard lab
or to fully transform it into the unique and inspiring work space that it is today. Our manufacturing process starts by selecting locally sourced, high quality hardwoods, some of our favorite types are olive, white oak, wild cherry and black walnut.
