The Story of LWG

How I started what I started...well it must have been something with my everlasting wish to live a fairytale or at least some kind of it. I have always been amazed by the power of good will, great deeds, kindness and the joy of life, in giving more than receiving and trying to make everything a little bit better...it sounds like a fairytale, but it's just the way I am, I guess. This is me.

I met gnomes while I was living in Norway and it was the time I got interested in Nordic mythology and its culture. Reading and doing some research I found out that Nisse or Tomte, depending on a country you are at, Norway, Danmark or Sweden, was a guardian dwarf, coined by Saint Birgitta of Sweden in the 1300s, traditionally known by its wisdom, kindness and hardwork. They like living near or under houses, looking after farmer's home and children and protecting them from any misfortune.

You see...making everything a little bit better...so I thought, why wouldn't I make a small creature, my LittleWiseGnome® ...It was my first thought and my next step...LWG®, a gift that makes you smile eventhough just for a while.
