We began this classroom by interpreting whimsy through children’s ergonomics, letting imagination lead, while keeping safety non-negotiable.
Every curve, height, and proportion grew from our own design ideas, shaped by how children actually sit, move, focus, and interact. The concept then moved forward through collaborative discussions with child development experts and the school principal, not to dilute the idea, but to ensure it could truly work in real school life.
What made this process meaningful was the trust.
This Playschool believed that a classroom doesn’t need to feel rigid to be functional. It can be calm, playful, and intentional. A space that quietly supports learning without forcing it.
This room isn’t designed to impress adults.
It’s designed to feel right for children, every single day.
