We are a collective of architects, designers and engineers specialised in creating dynamic and holistic solutions for building developments. The members of Inspiral bring together a wealth of experience in the design and construction of a range of building types. Our personal work has featured throughout South East Asia and the UK with clientele ranging from individuals to international firms. Eve

ry project regardless of its scale is viewed as an exciting prospect to work closely with the client, generating strong concepts which in turn develop into exceptional buildings. Our architectural service is closely integrated as the studio also provides expertise in structural design, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) design and interior design. We are situated in Little Tree Green Building Centre where we work closely with a range of consultants supplying the latest sustainable technologies from bioseptic systems to advanced water filtration to renewable energy supply. Our scope and work includes:

• Residential – both bespoke homes and villas to large complexes

• Work spaces – ranging from specialist studios to large scale commercial office buildings

• Hotels and resorts – from small boutique hotels to large resorts

• Spas – many of our designs have been featured within hotel developments or villa complexes, however our scope includes the creation of beautiful individual spas and treatment centres .

• Retail / restaurant / bars – as well as producing eye catching and comfortable 5 star venues, we assist in the overall concept and branding.

• Places of worship – Iconic spaces which exemplifies the participants dedicated spiritual nature.

• Master planning

• Interior design

• Landscape design

• Structural design

• MEP design

Inspiral have onboard a great team of mindful and creative individuals from varying professional backgrounds. This system allows creativity to flourish and is most effective when finding practical and efficient solutions.

In Part I, we explored the challenge: creating a completely open skylight between two independent structures in a high-seismic zone.

The solution wasn't to force the two structures to behave as one. Instead, they were carefully engineered to work in harmony, controlling displacement while preserving the uninterrupted opening. This approach allowed the glass to bridge the two structures without becoming the element that resisted their movement. Achieving that balance required close collaboration with .one, where architecture and structural engineering evolved together through countless iterations and carefully resolved details. The cleanest architectural moments are often supported by the most complex engineering—proof that great design is always a collaborative achievement.

This August, we'll also be exhibiting the Elysium bamboo scale model at .curated 2026, from 13–17 August—offering a closer look at the structural thinking behind the project.

As part of the Project 101 Explorers program by FOAID, Inspiral Studios welcomed architects and designers to LUNA BEACH CLUB for an in-depth architectural tour. Together, we explored how bamboo engineering, innovative structural systems, natural materials, and biocentric design come together to create spaces that are both expressive and environmentally responsive.

Rather than treating furniture as an independent object, the round bed was developed as an extension of the architecture. Integrated with the headboard and bedside tables, it establishes a unified focal point within the room.

To realise the design, we collaborated with Heveya® Bali to create a custom mattress crafted from three layers of natural organic latex, ensuring the final piece remained true to both the geometry and material intent.

Inspiral Studios is honoured to announce that Ulaman Eco-Luxury Resort has been awarded Best Resort at the Indonesia Building Technology Expo Architectural Prize 2026, presented this July at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in Tangerang.

Set within a restored wetland in Tabanan, Bali, Ulaman demonstrates how regeneration can become the foundation of architecture. Before construction began, the site was rehabilitated into a functioning ecosystem. The resort was then built using bamboo as its primary structure and rammed earth formed from soil excavated directly on site, reducing material transportation while reconnecting the architecture to its landscape.

Presented by Southeast Asia's largest building and architecture exhibition, the Best Resort award recognises excellence in hospitality design and environmental performance across Indonesia.

We are deeply grateful to our clients, collaborators, consultants, craftspeople, and construction teams whose dedication made this project possible. This recognition reinforces our belief that architecture can restore ecosystems while creating places that enrich human experience.
