A glimpse from our recent Non-Floral Foam Compote Garden Vase & Basic Round Bouquet Class 🌿

One of my favorite things about teaching is seeing how each student interprets flowers differently. Even when working with the same principles, no two arrangements ever turn out alike.

In this class, we explored sustainable foam-free mechanics, garden-style composition, flower movement, and the fundamentals of creating a balanced round bouquet. More importantly, we learned how to observe flowers not just arrange them.

Pernah dengar istilah Flower Economy? 🌸

Ini adalah konsep ketika bunga bukan lagi sekadar dekorasi, tapi menjadi alat untuk menggerakkan ekonomi sebuah kota.

Contohnya musim sakura di Jepang, Chelsea Flower Show di London, hingga Shanghai International Flower Show di China.

Yang menarik, Shanghai tidak hanya membuat pameran bunga. Selama musim semi, taman kota, shopping district, mall, dan berbagai brand ikut menghadirkan floral installations di seluruh kota.

Tujuannya sederhana: membuat orang datang, jalan-jalan, makan, berbelanja, menginap, dan menikmati kota.

Dalam 9 hari pertama saja, Shanghai Flower Show menarik lebih dari 8,5 juta kunjungan.

Ternyata bunga tidak hanya menciptakan keindahan.

Bunga juga bisa membangun citra kota, menciptakan pengalaman, dan menggerakkan ekonomi. 🌸
