The character of stone is a record of its environment.
And so is the work of Alvin Tjitrowirjo.

For nearly two decades, Alvin has been building a design language that is unmistakably Indonesian. rooted in local materials, shaped by artisanal traditions, and refined through a contemporary lens. Through his brand alvinT and as co-initiator of Millimeter Manifesto Design Collective, his work is not just furniture. It is an ongoing conversation between heritage and the present.

Body of Water is that conversation distilled into a single object.

Inspired by the elemental force that shapes marble over millions of years, the table's rippled surface translates the movement of water into stone. Preserving the memory of landscape, time, and material in one form.

His works has been exhibited at Milan Design Week, Maison et Objet, Design Art Tokyo and now, the shores of Bali.

Body of Water will be at JIA Curated 2026.

Still Life Bench by Cynthia Margareth is both.

Carved from natural stone Onyx Aurora & Carravagio this piece speaks to the tension between refinement and rawness. Between what nature provides and what design chooses to reveal.

Cynthia's practice at Mergrath Design has always moved between scales, from objects to spaces, from craft to architecture. Rooted in Indonesia's making traditions, yet fluent in contemporary design language, her work shapes not just form, but atmosphere.

Every project begins with a conversation, and we're always excited to be part of those moments.

This time, MM Galleri welcomed the teams from and .design to our showroom at IDD P*K 2 for an intimate discussion on the world of marble and natural stones through MM Talk. Together, we explored material characteristics, design possibilities, and how natural stone continues to shape timeless architectural and interior spaces.

Thank you for spending the afternoon with us and for sharing your thoughts, experiences, and creative perspectives. Conversations like these remind us that the best ideas are built through collaboration.
We look forward to hosting more sessions where architects and designers can connect, exchange knowledge, and discover new inspirations with MM Galleri.

An afternoon filled with wagging tails, happy faces, and meaningful conversations.

Together with drh. Rajanti and , we explored responsible pet ownership, followed by an inspiring live training demonstration by and Zeus Alabai, showing how patience, consistency, and trust build a loyal bond.
