Our Story

Founded in 2009, arsindo has a vision to become a platform for Indonesian architects to be internationally known. We are committed to provide design and planning services with integrity.

Through appropriate and procedural planning process, arsindo involves as a partner to realize the client’s vision to build a masterpiece of architecture which is advantageous for the client and other stakeholder.

Founder: Awen Tan

Awen Tan founded arsindo in 2009 with a vision that one day arsindo could become a platform for all Indonesian architects to go international.

He got the vision because he realized that Indonesian architects’ capability in technical and non technical aspect, have multiple approaches from culture and other aspects which are competitive compared with foreign architects.

Start from this vision, Awen Tan starts to develop arsindo’s internal management system that can accommodate his team to grow up as professional, with measurable and directed parametre, in order to achieve unlimited career path as far as they can reach, with integrity of value and wisdom.

He hopes that arsindo could be one of Indonesian architecture consultant who creates world scale projects.

Co Founder: Stephanie Starlet

Stephanie Starlet joined arsindo after graduated from university in 2010. Her first project in arsindo is Hotel Santika Premiere Surabaya. On 2013, she became principal architect and also head of studio of arsindo.

For her, becoming an architect doesn’t mean only designing spaces based on client’s dream but also educating clients to make a better environment through their projects. Being a consultant, also needs integrity and value to give best for client’s behalf.

Along with arsindo’s growth, Stephanie was involved to set up arsindo’s MIS since 2014. On 2018, Stephanie officially became a director of her own arsindo, named arsindo internasional dwitama.
