It's all hands on deck as we get ready for our trip to the Quilt Ireland Expo in Killarney. The cutting table is in full swing as we're getting everything ready to go.

We're also excited to be bringing along some beautiful new arrivals that we can't wait to share with you.
We're looking forward to meeting fellow quilters and sewing enthusiasts, catching up with familiar faces, and sharing our passion for fabric, quilting, and creativity.

The Irish Quilters Showcase is back!

Inspired by the Celtic calendar, the theme for our 2026 Expo is Samhain - a season of gathering, reflection, and renewal. Rooted in tradition, Samhain is a time for bringing communities together, honouring the past, and welcoming the future.

To celebrate this theme, we are proud to present a special exhibition featuring the work of talented and experienced quilters from across Ireland. Each artist has created their own unique interpretation of Samhain in quilt form, resulting in a rich and inspiring collection that reflects the spirit, stories, and symbolism of the season.

This extraordinary exhibition will be on display throughout the event for all attendees to enjoy.

We’re delighted to announce that Seams Sew Simple has been confirmed as one of the wonderful vendors attending our 2-day Expo on the 23rd & 24th of October at The Heights Hotel Killarney

Based in Roscommon, Seams Sew Simple is a quilting and patchwork supply store offering a fantastic selection of fabrics, accessories, and yarns for all your quilting, sewing, and crafting projects.

We’re delighted to announce that Quilt Ireland’s very first event will take place at The Heights Hotel Killarney on the 23rd & 24th of October 2026.

Join us for a two-day quilting experience, welcoming everyone - from seasoned experts to complete beginners.

Keep an eye out over the coming week for exciting updates on tickets, workshops, and more.

Be sure to quote “Quilt Ireland” when booking the hotel to receive the best available rates.

A 3 day retreat will be running alongside the event on the 22nd-24th October. Bookings for this will be taken by Quilt Ireland and not through the hotel. More info to come during the week!
