Another little "homeland haul" today.The bright days are encouraging all kind of madness in me,unfortunately not culinary,but I keep trying😀
Two of today's purchases; a little pot of oregano and one of lovage.
Lovage was a great favourite of my late mums,rip.
It went into a lot of stews for the family.
And the aroma from them could be smelled out on the street by passersby,who often called in to ask what the gorgeous smell was.
It transformed a lamb or beef stew into a "major want" 😀
The mention of lovage still sparks a smile and a lovely memory in my family.
