We were all so very sad to hear of Elmaire Mawe's passing this week, and our deepest sympathies go out to Conor and all of her beloved family and friends. Elmarie was such a shining light to all who met her and an incredible tireless advocate for the arts and creativity in the community. She was very encouraging to us at the West Cork Collective, and of course had her own personal roots in Garrettstown. Elmarie is already hugely missed, but her light, enthusiasm and kind heart will continue to inspire all those lucky enough to have known her. Rest in peace and love.

West Cork Collective is taking over Temperance Hall this Sunday. We are bringing our unique brand of excellence in customer experience. Some of our members are selling their wares and wisdom in the downstairs area while the upstairs is a veritable visual delight of art. Its free to come in and browse, find those ideal gifts, learn about our ethos, and go away with a renewed sense of what it means to be in community. Doors open at 10am and close at 5pm. Cash or card welcome.
