Cyril's book launch last night was a wonderful evening and we want to say a heart felt 'Thank you' to everyone who turned out for it - you really made it special. Thanks also to organisers Seamus and Jane and all the fabulous staff at Thurles Tourist Office and of course to our very own, Paul Kelly for all his hard work setting up the wonderful displays in the room and to Emily Cullen, who was our fantastic MC for the night. For those who weren't able to attend we have a wee video of the speeches and some pics of the evening. Enjoy!

We are overjoyed to announce the publication of Cyril Cullen's memoir, 'Knot Now!' Official launch to follow but a limited number of signed copies are currently available to purchase at Farney Castle shop. Narrated in his own vivid words, Cyril details his extraordinary life from growing up in County Cork to showcasing his beautiful designs all over the world. Recalling the foundation of the state, through the economic wars of the 1930s to the arrival of electrification, and into the progressive Ireland of today, Cyril's book provides rare insights into Irish society and into the man himself - designer, maker, innovator and family man.
