Feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the love and support from this weekend at the Craft Fair. Thank you so much to everyone that came to visit either for a lovely chat or a purchase. Your support means so much. Currently working on my Etsy website to get it up and running again, check stocks and upload new prints.

Hello 👋 it’s been a while… summer holidays must be close if I’m posting 😂 I’ve always found it hard to continue my own work while teaching all day. Not just from the hours in the day but from giving my creative juices to others all day. It tends to drain my motivation to do my own work during school time. Goal for summer… do SO much art. And I give everyone permission to give out to me if I don’t. For example this Lino print which has been sitting in a folder since November 🙈 so with less of timetable with 6th and TYs finished up for summer I brought in all my equipment, inks and paper to make use of the space in the art room. If you got to the end of this you’ve been rewarded with a picture of a tired Art Teacher in her natural habitat 😂 happy though 🥰 bye bye ….hopefully not for long though 😜

Fox done in polychromos pencils. Reference photograph is courtesy of my very talented father. I trained in painting but I’ve always found it easier and quicker to achieve the texture of fur using the sharp edge of a pencil. I hope to create more works this year using pencil and put up the originals and fine art prints of these works up for sale moving forward. If that’s something you would be interested in let me know 😊
