There something so special about solid antique teak. It’s known for its durability, but declining resources has made this wood difficult and expensive to use in contemporary furniture making.

Sourcing antique teak is the most sustainable option when choosing hardwoods for your home, and, in our opinion, the most beautiful.

Our Reid solid antique dresser shows the honeyed hues and rich patina of teak inside and out, and can be viewed in the Douglas shop now.

The Phelim!

A very interesting and quite beautiful old original teak dresser that has been restored and hand painted in our own ‘New Green’.

The bottom section has an enormous and extremely useful storage area - a width 127cm x a depth of 65cm.

If you’re thinking of this piece for your kitchen - this would be perfect to store all your mixers, juicers, bread makers and jam pots.

In a living room - it’d be perfect to store all your board games, photo albums and your thick and bulky throws.

The top section is glazed - perfect for showing off your own curated collection of treasured things.
