We’re officially on the countdown for the Cork Rose selection which takes place on Saturday 30th of May in the Rochestown Park Hotel where these 25 amazing young women will take to the stage 🫶🏻

The pride we get from being alongside Katelyn on her Cork Rose journey just keeps growing 🥹🥰

Last weekend she and the other Cork Rose entrants went on a wonderful day long tour 😅 First stop was the Midleton Distillery, where the girls enjoyed a fascinating tour and some special whiskey tasting. From there, they travelled to Leahys Open Farm. It sounded like so much fun: petting and holding the animals, mucking out stables, a pig race and home-made ice-cream! Next stop on the tour was Fota Wildlife Park, much loved and always a treat. From there to karaoke and fun at the The Mardyke and the day finished with a reception and chat back at Dwyers. What a treat 🤗

Passage West Creates is travelling with Katelyn. She is proudly wearing Margaret's jewellery and carrying one of Poppy's beautiful handbags, both of which she said received much admiration 🥰🥰🥰

Selection night on the 30th May is coming closer ...

Local crafting at its finest in a single photo 🥰🥰🥰

These glorious framed batiks are from Carmel. Carmel's decades of skill in batik is widely celebrated; how she manages to create these dreamy images out of layers of wax and dye will forever be a mystery ❤️ In more recent years she has developed a second skill with mixed media, pulling from a wide selections of fabrics, grasses and more. They are simply beautiful 👏

The stunning pillar lamp is also batik, although this time from Margaret at Purpose Mosaic. And the sweet star is from Andrea at Andrea's Knots. Andrea is gifted at macrame (the art of knotting) and she has a range of lovely plant holders and more in Passage West Creates at magnificently affordable prices 👏🥰 ❤️

Katelyn has attended her third Cork Rose event at the Curraheen Dog Track 😅❤️❤️

Her first time at the track, she had a wonderful time. One of the races was named after the Cork Rose entrants as "The Cork Rose of Tralee" race. They all presented the winning dog with the prize 🏆
