Limeworth, Cork

The entrance at Limeworth was designed to do more than simply welcome you in. It sets the tone for the entire home through a considered balance of function, flow and material detail.
Walnut was used throughout the doors and new staircase to create warmth and continuity, paired with classic black and white flooring, wall panelling and a tailored stair runner for a timeless finish.

Even the space beneath the stairs was carefully considered, transformed into a bespoke home bar and concealed storage using antique mirrored glass, walnut joinery and a Dekton Laurent worktop.

There is something enduring about Georgian design. The proportions, ceiling roses, decorative cornicing and picture rails bring a sense of elegance that still feels relevant today.

At Tranquility House in Dublin, those period details became part of something much more meaningful. The Georgian character of the property was carefully respected while the interiors were transformed into calm, comfortable and restorative spaces for individuals and families living with Cystic Fibrosis.

It is a beautiful example of how period architecture and contemporary living can work together, and of how thoughtful design can offer not only beauty, but comfort, dignity and care.

A complete transformation, designed around the way the home is lived in today.

What was once a large, disconnected space has been reworked into a more considered, functional and welcoming interior, with a stronger connection between the kitchen, dining and living areas.

The new layout introduces better flow, generous storage, a spacious kitchen island and a warmer, more cohesive palette throughout, while still respecting the character and proportions of the original home.

For us, a successful renovation is about more than how a space looks. It is about making it work beautifully for everyday life.
