Early 19th century Irish mahogany chest of drawers

This stunning chest in original condition with beautiful rich colour and great character. Probably from one of the good workshops in Cork or Dublin. It will stand alone as an imposing statement piece in any room. At about 200 years old, this piece of furniture is definitely friendly to the environment.

A pair of brass bound planters by Champion of London. These qualify compered teak planters were made in London by Champion and originally sold by Alex Hamilton, 11 Conduit Street, London W.

An advertisement placed in Country Life magazine in December 1907 under the heading Tubs For Shrubs informed the readers that Alex Hamilton had purchased the entire stock of Messrs. Champion and taken over production of high-class cooperage work.

There are stamped impression markings on both of these planters Tubs For Shrubs, London .

Late Victorian gilt overmantle mirror.
This stunning overmantle from late nineteenth century measures 48 ins wide and 59 ins tall. The original mirror plate is beautifully showing its age while still being reflective.
