For the manufacture of these piece, 2 ceramic kiln firings were necessary. Both of them have been made at more than 1000 ºC, the first to biscuit the clay and leave it ready for decoration and the second to apply the decoration and glaze.

Each item is made one by one at hand with much love and care. The making of ceramic has many stages. First clay gets its form, the object is let to dry a few days, then burrs are retouched and it goes into the kiln. It is fired at 1000 degree Celcius (1900 Fahrenheit). After first firing it is ready to glaze. After the glaze has dried it is fired again at 1040 degree Celcius (1920 Fahrenheit). After 19 hours of firing and cooling, it is ready.
