Let us introduce Italian Tile & Stone Terenure and the man behind the business - Luke Sweeney 👋

If you’ve visited our showroom in Terenure over the last two decades, you’ve likely met him. If you haven’t, let us introduce the man behind Italian Tile & Stone.

Luke has been immersed in the tile and stone industry since 1991. That’s 34 years of obsession with the perfect finish.

Twenty-five years ago, in 2000, he founded Italian Tile & Stone with a simple, rebellious idea: to challenge the "warehouse" model. He didn't want to sell pallets of generic tiles; he wanted to help homeowners "get it right the first time."

Why? Because tiles aren't just a building material, they are the permanent backdrop to your life.

Today, while he jokingly calls himself the "Chief Bottle Washer," Luke leads a design-focused studio that prioritises personal consultations over pushy sales. No matter the budget, the goal remains the same: combining the beautiful with the practical to add lasting value to your home.
