FOUNDED IN DUBLIN IN 1488, RATHBORNES IS THE WORLD'S OLDEST CANDLE COMPANY. ACROSS 500 YEARS RATHBORNES CANDLES HAVE ILLUMINATED THE STREETS, HOMES, LIGHTHOUSES AND CHURCHES OF IRELAND, AND THE CANDLES WHICH WE PRODUCE TODAY ARE STILL HAND-CRAFTED WITH MANY OF THE SAME SKILLED METHODS WHICH WE HAVE USED SINCE THE FIFTEENTH CENTURY.

Seanchaí Dún is here. The next chapter in our Seanchaí collection. It captures the quiet room where a story is finally told, with the door closed and the world left outside.

Fig and leather, softened by smoked tea, oud and sandalwood. It brings to mind an old Irish room lined with books, warmed by a single flame.

Hand-poured in our Dublin workshop, as we have done since 1488.

Now available as a scented candle and reed diffuser.
