Option 1: Demonstration workshops in fu
rniture painting or decoupage are available for large groups. This introductory demonstration is an overview for those of you looking to dip your toe in the water. They are primarily for Beginners and last for 1 hour. Option 2: Furniture makeover workshop: Beginner
Hands on is the best way to learn! The workshop is aimed at beginners and gives you the tools to do it yourself versus the Demonstration which is aimed more at seeing a piece be created. You will learn the do's and don'ts with milk and chalk paint, distressing & waxings. You'll apply techniques and take your creation home. Classes include materials and refreshments. Option 3: Furniture makeover workshop: Advanced
This is an exciting venture for those who wish to breathe new life into old, dull or even a piece of sentimental furniture that you do not want to discard.This workshop is for those already comfortable upcycling and will include learning skilled techniques. Bring a small piece of furniture (something you can carry in one trip) e.g. a chair, lamp-stand (even the shade may be painted and decoupaged if needed), small table, stool or shelf. Remember to have a protective sheet available in your car for bringing your piece home. Everything else you will need will be provided including refreshments. Option 4: Decoupage workshops. Learn how to enhance an object by using a technique called decoupage which is the art of adding cut-outs from paper e.g. napkins and placing it in the desired position which will look as though it was painted on to the piece.
