Early morning currach spotting on the Liffey ahead of a busy day. A delivery of stunning limited edition photographic prints from Eoghan Eoghan Kavanagh in Kenmare, beautifully framed by Steve Crozier. Looking forward to hanging them in the shop tomorrow. (Prices to follow! The framed turf prints are also back in stock!) We are full steam ahead in the studio. We had our maud and Sinead brooches scaled down and reprinted before casting them in brass. This size is going to be popular and oh so wearable. We're just figuring out the backss, but coming soon! It's a gorgeous week in town, so drop in some stage to soak up the Autumnal atmosphere.

Busy day on Mainie Jellett Street! (I think I saw something on Insta a while ago about renaming Dublin streets, anyone with more info? Could live with this name change!)

How would you like your online order delivered? OK, so, first option is store pick up, place your order online before lunch time and we will have that ready same day for collection.
2: NEW!!!!: Local Delivery; this is now available for orders within Dublin, stretching to Swords on DNS, Clondalkin, Tallaght areas out West and Dun Laoghaire, Carrickmines areas to the South. It's a €15 flat fee for that gift you need in a hurry! Order before 11am for same day delivery.
3: National delivery within 2 working days with DPD Ireland (this will increase to 4/5 working days during our MENTAL busy period) and FedEx for International deliveries. For these, delivery times vary, but generally one week.

We trialled same day, local delivery on Liz, Laura's Mam who lives in Rathfarnham. The order was collected from our shop and 2pm, and delivered to Liz at 4pm. Hassle free! It's going to be a super option for locals coming up to Christmas.

Deserving of a lil (alcohol free) spritz after working on the site for a couple of days. Here's a few favourite new additions:
2: Ola | Clay, Sea & Stories new cups, beautifully made! Find them in our new Ceramics & Glass collection on the home page.
3: Crochet nutcracker decoration made in Dublin by Ana. The Christmas section is live, with more beautiful items arriving in the coming weeks. We will have limited crochet decorations this year from Ana, who is a busy grandmother. My fave is the pudding!
4: The new Cracker Candle from Rathbornes 1488. These smell amazing!
5: The perfect flat white cup from Adam Frew in a new Autumnal pattern.
6: I've been burning the Spiral Candle from West Coast Crafts at home. Unreal burn time, absolutely perfect collection for Autumnal nights!

For those interested, I picked up the alcohol free spritz in McNally Family Farm it's the business! A clear head is required for website work 🫠😵‍💫🤯

1: Eithne here was among the over 10,000 who marched in Dublin today in solidarity with Palestine 🇵🇸
2: We were kept busy restocking triangle 🔺️ sccarves all day. This Autumnal staple came back into stock from Fisherman Out of Ireland on Thursday in a whole host of colours! Flying out, fear not, you can also grab one online.
3: Deliveries for our Christmas season have been coming in, so I decided to put just a few favourite products out on the shop floor.
4: our mistletoe stained glass decorations made by our own 🪄Ali are back in stock in very limited numbers, coming online this Monday.

It has been SUCH a busy week! We are full steam ahead in the workshop getting lots of jewellery made. Our National College of Art & Design jewellery student Melaniia is proving to be an invaluable help to us. Bonus: Melaniia's Mum is an incredible baker and keeps sending us in treats like vegan snickers, yuuuum!
Aside from being busy in the studio, the shop is busy, lots of orders coming in and soooo many deliveries. How do you duplicate yourself?! 😂 Alan (our goods in angel) rejoins our crew next week which will be an amazing help. During busy periods, it's nice to take a moment like yesterday morning, crossing the CHQ bridge to just admire that incredible view down the Liffey. Breaaaattthe

New additions to the online shop:

Irish mythology dolls from We Make Good | Ireland featuring St. Brigid, Cú Chulainn and Selkie, handmade with so much love in Dublin. LOVE the accessories
The always anticipated wall calendar from Kilcoe Studios in Cork, featuring beautiful watercolour illustrations by Sonia. This year's theme is the Irish Wildflower Meadow.
Beautiful notebooks and diaries made in Westport by .agusaris, a joy to use!
We're almost there now adding all our new products before we introduce our Christmas collection online (aaargh!!!!). Flat out in HQ packing and dispatching daily, we're on it! ( I think 😵‍💫)

When John our postman was dropping off our deliveries, I knew straight away what the big round package was. A very special delivery of an XL skib from Tipperary maker Hanna Van Aelst We have just the one, haven't measured it yet, it's big, looks fab hun on the wall alongside a framed 'The Plot Chickens' from Jo Pearson. It's available instore only, and costs €550.

A few new additions to the website available in the Seasonal Collection.

1: The ceramic birds from Limerick based Piotr Zwolinski have been so popular all Summer. I need to add more info and dimensions on these fellas tomorrow am, but they're live!
2: Laura spotted Dublin company saegul at the Summer market and knew they'd be a hit. My fave is The Session, smells like Autumn! 🍂 (I quietly put up the Christmas one too no.4) The illustrations are fab too.
3: I don't know why it's taken us so long to stock Waterford based Pawpear but sure we got there in the end! We adore Kim's seasonal card packs. Keep your eyes 👀 peeled for a special festive collab with Kim, coming soon!

Kicked off a busy Saturday looking at customers photos of their cats and participated in a long discussion on cat hair. We admired each other's cats and passed around the lint roller. It was GAS! Then I took the shop apart and spent the rest of the day putting it back together. A fresh season called for Autumnal displays (despite the 20° sunshine 🌞 outside) Thanks to everyone who stopped by, and to my colleagues who always bear the brunt of my chaos when merchandising 😂
