I have to admit, over the years my social media usage has gone down. I struggle to find the point in posting on platforms that continue to push people away from each other instead of together like they were originally intended to do.
Between AI generated content and countless ads being shoved down our throats, it’s hard to connect with other people in these spaces. Over the last year or so I’ve been using Threads and using it to connect with people in the fibre arts community and I’ve been loving it. I want to try and bring a bit of that same joy here.
I know in a practical world I’m supposed to be using this account to market my small business but to be quite honest, I’d much rather use the space to talk about what I’m working on. SO with all that being said, let’s get into it.
I’ve been doing a lot of cross stitching recently and absolutely loving it. I find the practice almost meditative and I’ve loved experimenting recently with my own small cross stitch design. I’ve decided to make something bigger and a bit more complex!
I’m looking forward to sharing updates about this project as I go, likely mostly in image form. I hope you’ll follow along!
