I love expressing my feelings with a brush, pencil and camera. My motto is zero waste and I try to recycle and upcycle rather than buy new things. Out of this and my love to beautiful things and surroundings, I create, sew, paint items for my home. I You will find here my paintings, photography and some hand made or hand painted clothing and accessories and and furniture.

Orange or teal piping – which one gets your vote for this upholstered bench?
Option 1: bold orange edge.
Option 2: dark teal, hand-sewn trim with an earthy vibe.
Comment “1” for orange or “2” for teal to help me decide!

Working away on another “not-quite-DIY” project 🛠️✨This time I’ve created a custom headboard for a girl’s room: super thin and compact to fit a very small space, with no room for foam, so I used several layers of thin wadding instead 🧵🛏️The fabric is a rich, thick velvet with a pattern inspired by natural stone, with beautiful hints of gold, blue and warm brown – I’m obsessed with how soft and elegant it feels 🤩💙✨ I’m also planning a matching lampshade in the same fabric so it all becomes one beautiful set ✨🪔What do you think of this headboard? Would you have it in your room? 💬💕

Making your online courses accessible isn't extra work when you build it in from the start—it's good design and it is good for your audience and your business. Contrasts, right colours, alt text and captions, keyboard navigation and WCAG compliance - all these things ensure more learners and users can access your content. Plus, accessible design benefits *everyone*, not just learners with disabilities.

Need some help with ensuring you create truly inclusive learning experiences? 🎯
Make sure to check out the comprehensive list I put together on my blog and check out how you can improve your online content accessibility.

☀️ Kayaking today was pure magic! Gliding across the peaceful lake, we were surrounded by stunning wildlife—swans, ducks, and even herons looking at us from the shore. At one point, a few cows wandered down to the water for a drink, and later we stumbled on a floating adventure spot with huge inflatables—totally unexpected! The sun was out in full force, which felt almost unreal for Ireland.

People sometimes ask, “Why Cavan?” I always think—why not? Honestly, have you ever been? 🚣‍♂️🦢🌞
