I’ve had this vision for a painting for quite a while. I wanted to learn to paint roses not just for their obvious beauty, but because of their fragility. They often stand strong, protecting themselves with the few thorns they have. They are vulnerable, a little like us.
Expressing your thoughts or ideas to the world isn't easy. But if we weren’t persistent enough to push through our vulnerabilities, the world would never see the beauty we are capable of creating—whether it’s through sharing a feeling like a nostalgic glimpse, or creating something so unimaginably or profoundly influential that makes someone think: "Wow I wish I thought of that idea!" Or "I never thought about seeing it from that perspective."
Whatever it is, keep creating and showing up. If you don't, you might just miss what really connects us as people: how deeply we decide to root ourselves reflects how we help someone else feel.
We all go through different stages in our lives, but in one of those stages, we will bloom and never look back—because why wouldn't you want to see your full potential? Keep rooting, keep growing, and never stop connecting.
