Beach Jewels by Bernie I have lived in Balbriggan all my life, my love of walking on the beach has inspired my jewellery It also helped me to push myself into the unknown.

I am a self taught Artist and have lived in Balbriggan all of my life. I have spent many enjoyable times in the town joining in the Summer Festival, enjoy many long walks along our lovely beaches and have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to travel far and wide. With local influences and those from abroad have influenced my art work and later my jewelry. I started to take an intere

st in art, { which i didn't think i was any good at } but was encouraged way back in 1999 to pursue it and it has taken all these years and lots of diddles to get to where i am now. I don't know what i would have done without it, as it has helped me through a lot in my life and was a great source of comfort and tranquility, and is great for your mental health. I would consider myself an abstract artist who loves to paint colour and shapes . My other passion's is making jewelry from sea glass and other unwanted and discarded items
