May camera roll as an Interior Designer 📸

May was a good one spent soaking up Boston architecture and garden sun.

Lots of client presentations and site visits fuelled by Britney on full volume.

This month features timeless interiors and gorgeous furniture pieces for both my clients and the HD Interiors showroom (more to come on the studio!)

And the new Room Planner landing and immediately becoming something I didn’t know I needed.

When working from home, you deserve more than the kitchen table.

We created this home office design which show cases how we made good use of the space in this show house at the Carraig Mor development in Wexford.

What is a bedroom on plan can be repurposed to better suit your needs.

We used a relaxing shade of green on the walls which paired beautifully with the dark furniture and tan leather accents. These colours are used to help relax your mind on the most stressful days.

This is what a home office should feel like, functional, bright and calm.

A kitchen transformed through re-imagination.

When our clients purchased their pre loved home, the original kitchen was not their style, masculine and a little dated.

They wanted something that would better reflect the stunning views from the dining area.

The existing kitchen units were in perfect condition.
The colour and finish was the only real issue.

So instead of replacing them, we transformed them with a professional spray finish, new antique brass hardware and an antique mirror backsplash.

We took inspiration from the surrounding landscape in the dining area. And used stunning shades of blue, green and mustard on the dining chairs.

This also injected some of our clients personal style into the space.

The end result is an interior and exterior existing in harmony.

At HD Interiors, our full design and turnkey service means we look at every project with fresh eyes and challenge the assumption that transformation always means starting over.

Six months in, and the studio is still teaching us things.

Opening the HD Interiors Studio in Rathnure was such a milestone for us.

With every project we complete and every client we welcome through our doors, we learn something new about what the space needs to be.

For us as designers, for our process, our partners, and most importantly, our clients.

We’ve been making changes quietly. Some you’ll notice immediately, and some are still to come.

We’re looking forward to sharing more and the full tour is coming soon.

A living room design that is earthy, warm and flooded with natural light, showcasing what a considered palette does to a space.

This showhouse project for was created to help potential buyers visualise how they could live in the space.

The earthy greens and warm amber accents are grounded by soft, neutral textures.

We doubled the natural light by placing the mirror opposite the window. Allowing daylight to be pulled into every corner and opening up the room entirely.

This is what we mean when we talk about contemporary design with timeless elegance.

Nothing decorative for decorations sake, every decision is made with the overall feeling of the space in mind.

And that’s the difference our bespoke service makes.
