From rusty and forgotten to a breathtaking statement piece! 🖤✨

This vintage brass bed is officially the oldest piece I’ve ever upstyled—believed to be close to a century old.

When it arrived, the metal frame was heavily rusted and the brass k***s were completely dulled by decades of oxidation.

Instead of letting history fade, I gave it a complete second life for a wonderful client:

• Deep restoration: Fully sanded down and sealed with a heavy-duty, rust-proof primer.

• Modern finish: Painted in a sleek black gloss finish using Hammerite.

• Restored details: The original brass k***s were hand-polished back to a brilliant shine using Brasso and plenty of elbow grease! 💪

Now, this family heirloom is ready to be loved all over again for generations to come.

✨ Even the smallest room in your home deserves a glow-up.

My clients wanted to inject some colour and personality into their beautiful new modern home, which was feeling a little too neutral.

So, they decided to start with the smallest room and take it from there…

And what a transformation! 🎨

Adding mouldings, a fresh coat of paint and some statement wallpaper has completely changed the feel of this space.

Proof that you don’t need a huge room to make a big impact.

This beautiful fire surround was in need of a modern upstyle to tie in with my clients modern room.

✅️ Primed with Fleetwood Bloxit
✅️ Painted in Advanced Satinwood by Fleetwood in Muslin White ( A soft cream based colour)

It looks like it was always this colour.

When I suggest material & colours, I got a wonderful reply

How lovely of my clients to have such faith in my expertise 😍

I suggested a light Oatmeal quality upholstery material to compliment their autumnal decor.
Timbers sanded back to bare wood then stained in Dark Walnut Stain & top coat of satin varnish for durability Both available in Hogarty's

An armchair like new for a fraction of the cost & another piece of furniture saved from the dump 😀

When you wallpaper for a beautiful client & the day just flys by with the chats 😅

My lovely client was unhappy with the previous wallpaper as it was poorly done by the last workman.

Sometimes the best Man for the job is a WoMan 😅👍

Old wallpaper fully removed ✅️
Wall prepped for new wallpaper ✅️
Touch up of paint on ceiling & both side walls so the new paper is seamless with the wall ✅️
Clean & tidy ad I go ✅️

All completed in 1 day so minimal disruption for my client ✅️
