Two great examples of Irish historical classics.
The Irish Chieftans - First Edition 1872.
Charles Ffrench Blake Forster.
A Galway book by a Galway man from Forster House. A Historian, Genealogist and served as High Sheriff of Galway in 1874, died the same year age 23. This example is in great condition and scarce.
Rebellions in Ireland - First Edition 1801.
Sir Richard Musgrave - Irish landowner, Protestant Loyalist, covering all Rebellions up to 1798. Fiercely anti-catholic. The bible for the alternative view on Irish affairs.
Both available in store now.
