A little twist on traditional cables! 🧶❤️

This lovely warm hat was such fun to knit, with the cables worked sideways to create those beautiful sweeping curves. Rich burgundy yarn with little tweed flecks adds texture and character—a cosy handmade hug for chilly days! ❄️

Who says Aran knits are just for humans? 🐾❤️

This little sweetheart is modelling a cosy burgundy jumper, with beautiful twisting cables, tiny flecks of colour and a snug ribbed neckline. A little bit of Irish charm for four paws—and a whole lot of cuteness! 🧶☘️🐶🐾🐕

Dressed for chilly walks, cosy cuddles and being told, “Aren’t you gorgeous!” 🥰

🎨🎶 Creative Calm for Better Learning 🎶🎨

Art, crafts and music can do more than support wellbeing — they can help children settle, focus, think clearly and approach problems with greater confidence.

Through mindful making and creative exploration, children practise planning, sequencing, experimenting, problem-solving and independent thinking — all skills that connect naturally with STEM learning.

A calmer child is often better able to concentrate, persevere, explore ideas and find solutions independently.

I’m now offering creative wellbeing and craft workshops for preschools and primary schools, combining calm, creativity and practical learning. PM for further details.

Knitted in fine 2-ply yarn, this little matinee jacket has a beautifully light, delicate feel. Tiny stitches flow into soft waves of lace, with open eyelets that give the pattern an airy look. The gently scalloped hem adds a lovely finishing touch. Now for the finishing touches - I think a bonnet perhaps and booties 🧶👶🏻❤️
